Summer Looks You Can Take Into Early Fall

Since the temperatures are scorching hot right now and we are in the middle of summer, most of us are wondering what to purchase to wear now and still be able to take it and wear into fall.

In my opinion, so much of that has to do with how you style & pick your items. Obviously a big thing to look for are items in lighter colors and that are made with lighter weight fabrics. These kinds of pieces can be used right now and easily be taken into early fall.

Today I have two of these looks with pieces that fit this criteria. I have styled two of our tops with one of our jackets and styled them all with my shorts and sandals. However, you can wear the same two tops and jacket with pants and boots, or closed toe shoes and they automatically work for early fall.

I started out with our Ecru Cascading Collar Casual Jacket which is an easy pull-on jacket that almost works as a cardigan. It’s soft and unstructured and it can work with so many outfits.

For the first look, I am wearing it with our versatile Mint Stand Collar Short Sleeve Blouse. I like the neutral color of the jacket mixing with the pop of the mint color from the top. The two colors really complement each other well and look great with my black shorts and black wedge sandals.

For the second look today, I am wearing a slightly more casual top, our rayon Heather Tan Multi Color Feather Print Graphic Top. This is a fun top with a beautiful feather print graphic print in the front and some very small silver studs. The body is loose and long, and the sleeves are three quarter length. This graphic top with look great under lots of jacket and even blazers which is a trendy look right now.

When putting these looks together, I noticed how the color story works really well with our Tan Fabric Clutch with Beaded Applique. This clutch is a nice statement piece with beautiful beading work in the front. Even though I have mainly shown it as a clutch today, it does have a small chain so you can use it on your shoulder if you please.
