Two Easy Breezy Summer Looks
How was everyone’s Fourth of July? I had a fabulous day with the hubs visiting the Getty Center and Museum. Let me tell you if you are ever in Los Angeles, it is a must-see place. The architecture of the building and the surrounding gardens are works of art on their own not counting the beautiful collection of art and statues that occupy the museum itself. There are also rotating exhibitions that come and go throughout the year, so there is always something interesting to see. One of the reasons we wanted to visit now, was because of one of their current exhibits which is called, “Icons Of Style: A century of fashion photography 1911-2011”.
This exhibit was interesting to both of us, since my husband’s hobby is photography and he knew all about the photographers that were featured in the exhibit. And of course, for me, being a designer I am always interested in anything that has to do with style and fashion. This exhibit will be ongoing until October 21-2018, in case you are in LA area.
We had a wonderful day walking around and admiring the beautiful architecture, views, gardens, and of course the museum and the amazing art work. The history of the Getty center and museum is too long for me to cover here but it is very interesting and I hope you will take time to check it out.
As for today’s outfits, I have two easy, breezy looks that are simple yet offer stylish looks to throw on for those hot summer days. The first look is with our White knit Poncho Top with Blue Feather Print which is made out of a soft and lightweight knit and has a fun blue feather print on it. It is a great piece to throw over a white camisole and jeans or shorts and you are good to go. The best part is that it is already on sale in our shop so you can get additional savings on it today with our flash sale. I wore it with my white shorts and tan platform sandals.
For jewelry, I added a brand-new earring set that I think is really pretty. It is our Gold Tone Vintage Inspired Tear Drop Earring that can look great with so many outfits.
For a second look, I wore our Blue Violet Ruffle Cold Shoulder Dress which is one of my favorite dresses. It is a very pretty blue/purple color and the style is very flattering. Even though it is cold-shoulder style, you can easily wear a bra under it and the body is semi shaped but easy to wear.
For the dress, I added our Antique Gold and Pearl Key Charm Necklace but I still kept the earrings. Both pieces work well with the dress on their own or as a pair.
How was your fourth ? How do you like my looks?
