White And Tan A Classic Combo For Summer

I hope you all had a fabulous long Fourth of July weekend. Ours was so productive + nice and relaxing. We managed to go shopping for some new home essential items, plus locate a few great plants for various places in the house. We also squeezed in a nice dinner at a roof top restaurant near out house plus a home backyard barbecue with friends and family.

Today I am showing you a chic and classic look that is perfect for a summer date night, dinner party, lunch with girlfriends etc.

Summer is all about casual dressing, but there are also a lot of occasions when you need to step it up a notch. Most of us tend to reach out for summer dresses for these occasions which is perfectly fine. However, statement jackets and tops especially combined with statement jewelry is another great way to go to be stylish and stand out in a crowd.

My look today is a good example of this kind of an outfit. It is also in a great summer color combo, tan and white. I am wearing our White Lace Cropped Jacket, which is what I call a statement jacket.

The lace fabric on this jacket already makes it a statement piece. The white lace has a structured geometric and floral pattern that is made to perfection and the bottom of the sleeves, and the hem of the jacket are finished in a diamond cutout pattern.

For a necklace I have a beautiful brand-new statement necklace that works perfectly with this look. I chose to wear these pieces with my tan trousers, however the same items would look great with black or any other bright color pants or skirts, blue or black denim jeans, or even with a white bottom, for an all-white look.
