Yellow Is Such A Great Pop Color For Spring And Summer

Yellow is one of those colors that works perfectly for spring and summer. The obvious reason is its reference to the sun and how we see so much more of it during those months. I also believe it is a very happy color.

So, with that in mind, I thought it would be a good time to re-style our mustard yellow round neck elbow length sleeve top. This top is one of the popular jersey tops in our shop that we keep re-stocking.

It is made from a soft rayon jersey knit. The body is loose and a bit oversized. It has elbow length sleeves, which is a new take on the three-quarter length sleeves. What I like about these sleeves is that you can fold them up a few times and make them shorter for hotter days.

For today’s look I have paired it with another best-selling item from our shop, our black lightweight open front cardigan vest. This is another piece that we keep re-stocking because it is super popular.

This vest is knitted in a nice soft navy yarn and has ribbed detailing in the front and around the arms. It has two front pockets that are also finished with a ribbing detail. The front is open with no closure and the bottom of the sides have two slits. If you want to cover the “vest trend” but you are hesitating on some of the woven ones, this is a great alternative as it is casual and easy to wear. In order to bring the two items together I have added our Ivory black yellow abstract floral silky scarf. This is a beautiful scarf, and you can wear it with many other outfits. To finish off the look I have added our black and white Iridescent bead necklace with marbleized pendant.
