Creating Effortless Elegance When Combining Neutrals
There is an effortless elegance that comes naturally in combining neutrals, regardless of what season. They are easy to mix color wise and pattern wise and they create a stylish and sophisticated look for any occasion.
Today I have styled a few of our “neutral” items together that mix well in color and pattern. I started off with our best-selling Mocha V neck sweater which we have just re-stocked.
This sweater is made with a nice soft yarn, and it is medium weight. It has a V neck and traditional ribbed details in the bottom and cuffs. It also has a side slit on each side. You can wear it over long sleeve tops, shirts and it also works great as a layering piece under jackets for fall.
The shirt I chose to wear underneath the sweater is our cream taupe stripe gauze shirt with roll up sleeves. it is made of a 100% cotton double gauze stripe fabric. The stripe combo is cream/taupe making it very versatile to wear with different pieces. It has all the characteristics of a shirt like a collar, small buttons in the front, one chest pocket and fold up tabs on the sleeves.
The other neutral item I added is our fun taupe multi luggage conversational print silky neck scarf. This great scarf works perfectly with both the sweater and the shirt. I finished off my look with our gold tone chunky short hoop earrings.
