Plaids Stripes And Florals For Spring
My last blog story was about mixing patterns, floral and stripes in particular, and today’s look is an extension of the same concept. The main difference is two of the featured items today are “mixed pattern” pieces on their own as opposed to me combining two patterns together.
The first one is our Black White Plaid Long Shirt with Red Flower. This is a loose and flowing long shirt that you can wear many ways as I have shown you below. It looks great as a topper over t-shirt or tank top, buttoned up all the way or half way, and last but not least tied at the waist. It can also be worn belted or even as a short dress over leggings or tights. It is made out of a wonderful soft rayon with a fun plaid and floral pattern mix.
I wore this piece over our Heather Gray Twist Side Top which looks great with it. This is a great basic top with the side twist which is an interesting detail that takes it up a notch. It is made out of rayon modal which is a super soft fabric.
For a second look, I have another great “mixed pattern” top to debut today. Our Red White Stripe Floral Print Jersey Top is a super fun piece for spring. The base print is a white and red stripe and a pretty floral pattern is printed on top of it in black, making an interesting print combo. This top is also made out of soft rayon lycra. The body is easy and it has beautiful flounced short sleeves giving it a feminine edge. I have half tucked it in the front but you can see the length when its left out in our shop photos.
To finish off both looks I added our Black Gray White Bead and Pendant Necklace which looks great with both looks as you can see in the photos. I wore both outfits with my black slim shorts, black wedge sandals and a cross body bag.
