Crazy For Our Coral Harper Jacket
Today I am featuring our brand new Harper women’s jacket for spring. Spring and summer always conjures up images of beautiful flowers, weddings and beach parties with chilled Bellinis and Rose` wine. One of the colors that immediately comes to mind is coral. Coral is a perfect color for spring and its also a very flattering color for almost all skin tones. I don’t know many women that don’t own some kind of a coral clothing piece, be it a pink version or a more orange version of the color. It’s one of those colors that is always trendy depending on which shade is featured more for that season.
So for this spring collection, I really wanted to include a type of coral color in my jacket offerings. When I came across this beautiful sanded rayon tencel fabric, I knew I had found the one I wanted for my Spring jacket collection. Not only did I love the color, but the fabric itself felt so soft and luxurious because it was sanded and washed in its finishing process to give it an extra silky and supple hand. Of course this kind of fabric calls for a soft jacket that drapes nicely, hence the “Harper Jacket”, which is a shaped silhouette with three quarter sleeves and a cascading draped collar.
Coral can be worn with so many different colors, from navy and black to tan and grey; it can be a great addition to any neutral color. Personally I really love wearing it with white, especially for spring. Today I am wearing it with my short flouncy white skirt I recently purchased and can’t wait to wear throughout the summer. When I wore the coral jacket with a white tank and white skirt I felt I needed a darker color in accessories to make the whole outfit pop more. So I decided to go with chocolate brown which I think is a great complimentary color to coral and white. Hence my brown gladiator sandals and brown clutch and some fun ethnic necklaces.
