Ivory and black is a great neutral color combo for any season. One way to approach how you wear this color combo for each season is: For spring make your outfit mostly Ivory with a less black and for fall make it more black and less ivory.

For today’s look I have restyled our Ivory two button classic blazer which is one of our new spring blazers and I first styled it for you HERE. This blazer is made from a soft ivory fabric with a little bit of stretch. The body is semi shaped and easy but not over-sized. It has all the characteristics of a blazer like a notch collar and lapel, two buttons in the front, functional welt pockets with flaps. It is fully lined in a matching ivory lining.

I have worn it with my own ivory jeans to get that monochromatic suit look. For a shirt I have re-styled our black ivory stripe silky shirt with roll up sleeves. I first debuted this shirt HERE. It is a great shirt that can be worn year-round. It can be worn on its own, layered under jackets, blazer, cardigans and even sweaters.

The fabric is soft and silky, and the body is loose and long. It has two pockets on the chest with a small button. The sleeves are long with a cuff, but it also has a tab inside so you can wear them folded up as a three-quarter length sleeve.

Since I have been talking about wearing shirts as soft jackets for spring, I decided to style the same shirt as an outer piece for a second look option. I am wearing it over our black rayon jersey tank top and leaving the front open. As you can see you many many options in different ways you can wear this great shirt.

As for the black tank top, it is one of our best-selling rayon modal jersey tops that we always restock.
