Lavender Trending For Spring And Summer Outfits
One of Pantone’s spring color trends is called “pastel lilac” and it is a very pretty shade of lilac or lavender. This color normally looks great for spring and summer anyways but this year it is also trending so that is always a plus.
I wanted to do an outfit representing this color, so I have restyled our lavender white striped shirt for today’s blog feature. The fabric is soft yet crisp with the background being white, then printed on tops with a variegated stripe design. It has a contrasting white collar and cuffs. The body is loose and long but not oversized.
What I love about this shirt is that you can wear it in so many ways. Not only does it work as a traditional shirt, like I have shown today, but you can leave it open as a shacket and wear a tank top or camisole underneath. Since lavender is trending, I also have a perfect matching neck scarf to go along with this lavender white shirt. The neck scarf is made of silky fabric and the pattern is a floral print with lots of other colors combined with the lavender.
