Navy And White With A Touch Of Gold
I have always liked starting spring with a navy and white look. This color combo is such a classic combo for spring and summer. In the past I have done many looks in navy and white combo and I usually like throwing in a third pop color. For today’s look I have chosen gold as the pop color.
I have started off with our best-selling navy cardigan vest which we keep re-stocking. This vest is knitted in a nice soft navy yarn and has ribbed detailing in the front and around the arms. It has two front pockets that are also finished with a ribbing detail. The front is open with no closure and the bottom of the sides have two slits. If you want to cover the “vest trend” but you are hesitating on some of the woven ones, this is a great alternative as it is casual and easy to wear. We have this piece in two other colors as well: Taupe , Black and Gray.
For today’s look I am wearing it over our white textured fabric long sleeve shirt. This is one of our new items for spring and it is a great basic white shirt. It is made of a textured soft white fabric that is a combination of cotton and modal (rayon). The body is semi loose but not oversized. It has all the characteristics of a classic shirt like a collar and placket in the front with small wood buttons. The sleeves are long with a cuff and one button. It also has one chest pocket.
As a pop color, I have chosen gold for this look. The gold color is part of our beautiful navy blue gold abstract floral silky scarf, which is also another best-seller. It looks great with this outfit as it will do with many other outfits for spring.
For jewelry I am wearing our double layer multi color and gold bead necklace. The necklace has gold and blue gray beads, so it works nicely with the whole look.
