Simple Ways To Brighten A Black And White Look

Black and white works for all seasons. It’s a stylish color combo on its own or you can always take it up a notch by adding one or more bright colors to the look. This can be done by adding a colorful clothing item or an accessory like a scarf.

My look for today has this formula. I started off with a black and white base. My own white jeans combined with our unique black notch collar open side vest. I call it unique because it looks like a tailored classic vest, but it has a twist. The twist is that it is open on the sides! It has two straps and a D-ring where you can pull the strap through to connect the front and the back. (Make sure to check out all the store photos to see the details clearly).

This feature makes it easier for fitting purposes, as you can adjust the vest to fit looser or tighter. It has a classic notch collar and lapel with one button closure in the front. It is fully lined, giving it a clean and crisp look. We have the same vest in an Ivory color as well and you can see that piece HERE.

For a pop of color, I am wearing our new royal blue round neck short sleeve top. This is a new addition to our best-selling rayon modal jersey tops. The body is loose and easy but not oversized. I have tucked it into my pants today, but you can see many photos of it left out in our store pics.  We have the same top is a few other colors as well.

Fuchsia, Oatmeal, Mint, Coral and Black.

To add a few more pops of color, I have added a new fun scarf. Our multi color circular pattern scarf is a great spring scarf that will work with many outfits because of all the colors it has in the pattern. It works perfectly with the royal blue top.
