Our Taupe Boucle Hooded Poncho Styled With Two Different Tops

Last fall we had a Navy Boucle Hooded Poncho that was a big hit with everyone. It had red and gray stripes running through certain parts in a plaid design. This year we are offering the same piece but in a new color combo that is super chic and versatile.

It is our Taupe Boucle Hooded Poncho with Fringe and it is made out of a taupe boucle fabric with navy, burgundy and cream stripes creating a plaid design in certain areas. This poncho is super cozy and soft and you can wear it as a poncho or a shawl.

I have styled it with my boot-leg dark denim jeans and have given you the option of two new tops, both of which work really nicely with it. First one is our Ivory Criss Cross Three-Quarter Sleeve Top. I have shown you this top before but in a short sleeve and in fact we have only one of those left in our store. This is the exact same rayon lycra top with a criss cross neck detail, but with three-quarter length sleeves. I have tucked mine in here but you can see the length of the top, which is quite long, in our shop photos.

The second top is our Taupe Long Sleeve Knit Top with Lace details on the shoulder and the back. It is made out of a heather yarn which in clothing refers to interwoven yarns of mixed colors producing flecks of an alternate color. It is basically like “heather grey” but this one is a “heather taupe” yarn. It is an easy, semi loose body with long sleeves that has a beautiful lace trim on the shoulder. The back also has a lace trim and an opening in the bottom. You can see more detailed photos below.

As for accessories, I added a fun new “message” necklace to the second look. It is our Gold Tone Chain Necklace with “Believe” Key Pendant. It is a message necklace to remember to “believe in yourself”, which is a message I love. I finished my look with my Cognac booties, bag and belt.
