We Are Celebrating Our One Year Blogiversary At Jacket Society
We are celebrating our one year blogiversary at Jacket Society!
I can’t believe it, but it is the one year blogiversary of Jacket Society! There are a few things I would like to share with you on this occasion. First and foremost I want to say a big thank you to everyone that visits, reads and comments on my blog. Thank you to all my registered blog followers, and thank you to all my social media friends and followers on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Bloglovin and Google+. You have made this year so much fun and I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for every comment and like that I receive from you all. I have gotten to know a lot of you through my blog with your sincere words of encouragement on my stories and feel that I consider you all as friends even though we have never met. I am looking forward to sharing more and learning more from everyone out there in this coming year.
Secondly, when I was thinking about what outfit to shoot this week for the blog, I decided to go back to my first blog story to see what I was wearing and come up with a different look for it for my blogiversary blog story. I guess it must have been hot in Los Angeles last September as well, because the first story I shot last September was about a sleeveless jacket and how to wear it for summer. I thought why not re shoot this look but in a different way to show how you can keep and re use certain pieces that are timeless for any season. I have worn this BCBG sleeveless jacket so many times, it never goes out of style. I wanted to show you that there are certain classic pieces you can keep in your wardrobe that do not go out of fashion. This sleeveless jacket is a special key piece in my wardrobe, especially this year because sleeveless jackets and vests have become such a big trend. Last year I wore this with jeans and sandals to show a very casual look., so this year I wanted to dress it up for a more polished and sophisticated style that you can wear to work or a dinner party. I love black and white together; you can never go wrong with wearing this combination, so my black and white look is accessorized with lots of gold that really looks stunning.
